The arrival of the Holy month of Ramadan indicates the onset of the season of fasting, observance and generous festivity.
"Jeddah's Hilton and Qasr Al Sharq, Hilton International's first ever palace hotel, are preparing again to celebrate Ramadan. Once again we are sparing no efforts so our guest and visitor alike can enjoy the rituals of their fast, in comfort and luxury in reminisces of their own home. Says Mr. Peer Norsell, the Director of Operations.
"Year on year we put a lot of time and effort into our preparations for the holy month, to ensure our visitors get the very best. This year we look forward to an even stronger number of visitors".
Overlooking the Red Sea on the landmark Corniche, the elegant and luxuriously designed hotels in ideal proximity to the two holy cities, have continued to attract a seasoned international and local clientele. Mecca is less than an hour away. Patrons can conveniently enjoy an Omrah trip or evening prayers at Holy Haram and back in time for Sahour.
Throughout the month, the hotel's chefs have devised a labyrinth of lavish Iftar (breakfast) buffets and extensive Sohour menus to appeal to the most discerning of tastes. Special rates and promotions are also on offer at Al Saffiana and Amwag restaurants and include a range of Arabic specialties and international flavors unique to the holy month until dawn. At the Qasr Ballroom the hearty Iftar served is marked with a gourmet extravaganza promotion, seasonal delights and delicious sweets not to forget Mataam Al Sharq and Bice.
"Ramadan, in particular is more than a spiritual and festive month for the Muslim world. Our clients regularly visit to enjoy a spiritual journey or take the pleasure to experience a traditional oriental atmosphere," commented Mr. Norsell.
Heralding the arrival of Eid Al Fitr, Hilton will host the famous breakfast celebrations with sumptuous banquet, the only fitting farewell for such a divine month.
The promotions will run throughout the month of Ramadan.
